Abstract: Groups contain tens of galaxies bound by the mean gravitational field of their individual dark matter halos. They are generally relaxed (in viral equilibrium) and are typically free from the complications of gas dynamics and radiative processes.  Properties of groups over 4 decades of mass will be reviewed: scaling relations, luminosity functions, halo mass function, and the construction of group catalogs.
