Congratulations to Amit Kam, Technion-Physics PhD student of Professor Guy Bartal, on winning the EPS-QEOD Student Award for his talk, “Entanglement of Near-Field Photons in Their Total Angular Momentum.” The award was distributed during the "Nanometa 2026" conference held in Austria on behalf of the European Physical Society, through its Quantum Electronics and Optics Division (QEOD) and Young Minds Action Committee. The award recognizes PhD students whose scientific contributions in optics and photonics are of the highest quality.
