Congratulations to our PhD student Eliya Blumenthal on winning The Israel Physical Society (IPS) Asher Peres Prize for Outstanding Experimental Student during the 71st annual meeting of the IPS.
Eliya Blumenthal won the award for his work "On-Demand Control and Dissipation of Bosonic Modes via Strongly Driven Transmons," performed under the supervision of Professor Shay Hacohen-Gourgy. Eliya led projects from concept and simulation stages through device fabrication and experimental realization and successfully addressed a central problem in bosonic quantum information processing modes using strongly driven superconducting qubits.
