| Abstract: | The search for new physics is broad and ongoing, one of its the main challenges being that we do not know where new physics is most likely to emerge. While new experiments can take years to design and build, existing experiments and facilities can often provide powerful probes of new physics , even if they were not originally designed for this purpose. In this talk I will present several of such proposals, from the high-precision measurements of the electron electric dipole moment (eEDM) in molecules, to searches for CP violation in chiral molecules and probes of (pseudo)scalar particles in the high intensity environment of nuclear fusion reactors. |
