Abstract: | I discuss various aspects of the current and future-planned flavor program. We will focus on precision tests of the Standard Model (SM) arising from flavor symmetry techniques, as well as their applications towards controlling theory uncertainties in precision measurements of quark mixing phases. On a more formal note, I will also present an overview of a newly-developed dynamical flavor alignment mechanism and its prospective applications, including to the construction of flavor-safe beyond SM theories.
