Abstract: The t-J model is often used for simulating high-Tc superconductivity in cuprate materials. We visit this model to calculate the Hall anomaly- change of the Hall conductivity sign associated with the onset of superconductivity. To do that we use DMRG simulations of charge pumping on a 2D cylinder, and try to establish a connection between this sign change and the appearance of pair binding.
