Abstract:

Assisted by new and upcoming instruments like LOFAR and the SKA, the radio surveys are playing a decisive role in exploring the large-scale structure of our universe. I will discuss some very significant observations of large scale isotropy and anisotropy achieved by employing radio galaxy surveys and present our results from VLA, SUMSS, and the latest TGSS ADR1 (GMRT), which are found to show excess power at large scales. I will also discuss how we resolve crucial galaxy biasing, an important component in fitting cosmological models to observed galaxy distribution, and investigate other statistical properties of radio galaxies using deep and broad radio surveys. All radio physics is going to benefit immensely from LOFAR and SKA. I will discuss the main cosmological projects I am contributing  using these surveys and will talk about the improvements we are expecting in  future
