Organization and Order in Many Body Systems

Abstract - 

Physical systems out of thermal equilibrium show signs of self-organization as they change their internal configuration while propagating towards a steady state. In this seminar I will show a method of quantifying the order of discrete physical systems. This method is not restricted to unsteady states and may be used in any discrete system (provided that it is big enough to ensure convergence).
