תקציר:We present a study of mixed polaritons in a system of 3 quantum wells embedded in a microcavity (3QW/MC). Two QW's are modulation doped QW's (ne = 1x10 11 cm-2), with an undoped QW placed between them. The QW's are placed at the antinodes of the electromagnetic field of the MC-confined photon. A strong interaction of the excitons of the undoped QW, with the Fermi-edge transitions of the doped QW's, is induced by their interaction with the MC-photon. Mixed polaritons are formed, and their properties are studied by photoluminescence and reflection spectroscopy. We show that the dependence of the mixed polariton energy and intensity on resonant interaction with the MC-photon can be interpreted as resulting of electron tunneling from the doped QW's into the undoped QW.
