| תקציר: | As an electro-optical device, the eye is not the optimal camera. For one, it has many aberrations. Furthermore, its photo-receptors are mounted behind neural layers which process the image and transfer it to the brain. We measured some of the aberrations, and could resolve single cells in the retina. We propagated light through a computer model of the retina, and were able to explain several prominent vision effects. |
