תקציר:Two-level systems are the prototypical realization of a quantum bit (qubit), and as such, their
coherent control is a key element in novel quantum devices and applications. In this work we
study, theoretically and experimentally, the time-optimal construction of arbitrary single-qubit
rotations, under a single, strong driving field of finite amplitude. We propose and realize a
strongly-driven spin system using radiation-dressed states of nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond,
which are driven four times faster than their Larmor frequency. We implement and characterize the
designed time-optimal universal gates on this system, and use these gates to demonstrate a dualaxis
dynamical decoupling sequence with pulses at sub-Larmor time scales.
