תקציר:Optical attosecond pulses are the shortest events that are systematically produced by mankind. These pulses, which are produced through the process of high harmonic generation, are used for time-domain investigations of ultrafast electronic processes in atoms, molecules, and solids. To-date, isolated attosecond pulses exhibit only simple waveform and are limited to the extreme ultraviolet spectral region.  This research presents a scheme to up-convert the frequency of isolated attosecond pulses into the soft X-ray spectral region and to manipulate their spatio-temporal waveforms. Several examples of complex isolated attosecond pulse beam will be presented, including spatio-spectral Airy beam that exhibits prismatic self-bending effect and a beam that focuses to a sub-micron spot.
