Abstract: | The numerical simulations were used to study the processes of nanosecond timescale formation of the plasma in interference switch of a high-power microwave compressor will be presented. The results of these simulations showed space- and time resolved plasma parameters and their influence on the parameters of the output high-power microwave pulse versus the type and pressure of the gas and initial stored in the resonant cavity microwave energy. |
