| Abstract: | Abstract: I will discuss a model we devised, involving an ensemble of interacting qubits. We assume a pairwise interaction of the qubits with a photon bath, where excited qubits are only allowed to decay in pairs while emitting a photon. This differs from "usual" spontaneous decay, where qubits are allowed to decay separately. I will show this setting produces polynomial decay of the excited state, contrary to the familiar exponential decay law |
