Congratulation to Alexander (Sasha) Rososhek, Sergey Efimov, Victor Gurovich, Alexander Virozub, Somesh Vinayak Tewari and Yakov Krasik for their article being picked as a featured article in Physics of Plasmas journal. The research was conducted at the Plasma and Pulsed Power Laboratory at the Physics Department at the Technion. It focused on studying the divergent shockwaves generated by an underwater electrical explosion of a single wire using a microsecond timescale generator and recorded by a high-resolution streak camera.
