| Abstract: | Recent mathematical results concerning spectral properties of Laplacians on fractals are applied to physical problems such as quantum transport and quantum statistical mechanics for particles on fractals. Of particular interest are the roles of the spectral and Hausdorff dimensions and characteristic log-periodic oscillations of certain physical quantities. |
