Abstract: | In this talk I will describe the large N limit of the Chern Simons theory coupled to a fundamental matter at finite chemical potential. This theory is exactly solvable, in the sense that one can calculate the large N effective action and correlation functions. This allows for a systematic comparison of the observables with the predictions of the low energy effective Landau Fermi liquid theory. Specifically I will describe how to calculate the Landau parameters, which describe the strength of a quasiparticle interaction. More exotic feature of the model is revealed in the regime of strong coupling, which is known to be dual to a free bosonic theory. I will demonstrate how this three dimensional bosonization duality is manifested in the thermodynamic properties of the theory.
