Multiphoton quantum phenomena in periodic and dynamically disordered waveguide networks |
Abstract: |
Propagation of single photons through waveguide lattices results in a spatially redistributed probability pattern known as discrete diffraction. As it turns out, single-photon dynamics in such discrete systems do not show any divergence from wave optics. Rather the richness and complexity of genuine quantum processes are more prominent when a manifold of indistinguishable photons is considered. In this presentation I will discus our recent results on multiphoton dynamics in ordered and noisy tight-binding lattices.
