Abstract: | Weak localization (WL) corrections to the d.c (T=0) electrical conductance G, the scaling quantity known to describe Anderson localization, result from interference effects. In each of the 3 Wigner-Dyson classes, the sign of WL correction is related to the type of the time-reversal symmetry present. We generalize this correction to all of the 10 Altland-Zirnbauer topological classes. Using a new general expression of the WL correction, we show how it vanishes for certain chiral classes. We present numerics to back our results using the Thouless expression of the conductance. |
