| Abstract: | Strongly correlated electron systems exhibit a wide variety of novel quantum phases at low temperatures. The role of the proposed workshop is to bring together leading researchers in this field from Israel and abroad. We shall invite mostly theorists and some experimenters. It will provide the attendants with an updated status of several highly active fields. The common thread of all topics are the effects of interactions, frustration, and quantum mechanics on producing novel dynamical phenomena in a wide variety of condensed matter systems at low temperatures. Speakers will present phenomenological analysis of experiments and progress made in the development of new theoretical and numerical tools.
