Abstract: | A stellar interferometer is a light-weight and high-resolution optical observation device made from separate, even sparse, aperture segments. These sub-apertures have to be tuned together in order to achieve a high resolution image. We built a computer-controlled active optics prototype overcoming this phasing problem without any additional sensor, by optimizating the measured image. |
