Abstract: | Strongly-coupled, confining gauge theories may have light modes which dominate the IR limit, in particular if they are Nambu-Goldstone bosons of some global symmetry breaking. In the holographic setup these modes will be localized at the (geometrical) IR region in the bulk. Inspired by the holographic Wilsonian renormalization approach, I will describe an exact prescription to holographically derive the IR effective action of the gauge theory. I will demonstrate the formalism and its power on the simplest example of AdS/QCD, where I will derive the low-energy "chiral Lagrangian" of pions, and in particular the 4-pion scattering amplitude to all orders in the derivative expansion. |
