Abstract:Numerous SUSY searches at the LHC have so far only provided null results, which have been used to place limits on a diverse array of models. In this talk I will discuss how one can translate the results of these and other searches into a general statement about the status of natural SUSY, even if one allows for arbitrary extensions of the MSSM and does not make any assumptions about the SUSY breaking mechanism, the superpartner spectrum, R-parity, etc. In particular, I will argue that given a naturally light LSP, gluino production generally leads to either significant MET, or top quarks, or high object multiplicity, and that each of these signatures is excluded in a largely model-independent fashion for gluino masses up to 1 TeV. I will also note a few exceptions and suggest several search strategies that can improve the sensitivity in certain cases.
