Our PhD student Anatoly Patsyk won a Jacobs Scholarship.
Anatoly's research, instructed by Moti Segev and Uri Sivan, focuses on theoretical and experimental aspects of light-matter interactions. More specifically, linear and non-linear optical phenomena in the presence of curved space geometry, non-diffracting and accelerating beams, waves in disordered media and light-liquid interactions in thin liquid films.
