A Hanukkah party marking excellence was held at the department of Physics. During the event, scholarships sponsored by KLA Tencor
were awarded to students in the department Honors Program. On top of the scholarships, The Physics Department Honors Program provides extraordinary undergraduate students with the opportunity to take part in cutting edge research projects and scientific enrichment activities in the department.
The KLA Tencor award for excellence in admission to an advanced degree in physics was also awarded during the event.
