The physics department welcomes Michael Krueger to our faculty staff.
Michael joins the department of physics and the Solid State Institute after completing a postdoc at the Weizmann Institute of Science and his Ph.D. in Germany, his home country. He is an ultrafast optics experimentalist and will establish an attosecond optics laboratory to study multi-electron dynamics in molecules and nanostructures.
He just won an ERC starting grant, entitled "Attosecond space-time imaging of coherent quantum dynamics". He also just got married - double congratulations
