The Physics Department prize for excellence in admission to an advanced degree is sponsored by KLA Tencor
and was awarded for the first time this year.
The two winners are Yuval Abulafia and Guy Segall.
Yuval received her bachelor degree in physics with honors last year from the University of Bar Ilan. Guy completed his bachelor's degree in physics last year. His final degree grade score was the highest of his cohort, in the entire Technion.
We are proud that Yuval and Guy chose to pursue their graduate studies in our department, and we wish them success in their studies and research.
