Prof. Yoram Rozen appointed Asher Space Research Institute (ASRI) director as of January 1st, 2021.
ASRI, a Joint venture of the Physics department and the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, focuses on innovations in space research and technology while also promoting space education. ASRI has sent numerous missions to space. The upcoming ADELIS-SAMSON mission is scheduled for March 21st (a great way to celebrate Yoram’s birthday).
While most ASRI missions are looking inward, from space down to earth, Rozen would like to look outward, into space, harnessing his particle physics experience to add some astro-particle “flavor”.
