In a new paper published in nature Evgeni Grishin, Uri Malamud, Hagai Perets and colleagues propose a model that explains the unique parameters of Arrokoth, the Kuiper belt object visited by the New Horizons spacecraft.
Their work has Important implications for understanding the early stages of planet formation.
