Our Ph.D. student Alexander Rososhek (Supervisor: Yakov Krasik) will receive the 2020 prestigious Igor Alexeff Outstanding Student Award of the Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS, Plasma Science and Applications PSAC Awards). Earlier this year Alexander was one of the recipients of the 2019 Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society Student Paper Awards.
The Igor Alexeff Outstanding Student Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of plasma science and technology by undergraduate or graduate students. It is a prize of $1000 and certificate funded by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society’s Plasma Science and Applications Committee. The prize will be presented at the 2020 International Conference on Plasma Sciences (ICOPS) to be held in Singapore.
