The Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) collaboration, who produced for the first time an image of a black hole in 2019, published new images of the polorized light at the edge of the black hole (in the center of the M87 galaxy) .

Roi Rahin, a Ph.D. student in the faculty under the supervision of Ehud Behar and a recipient of the 2019 PhD Ramon Fellowship, reviews this fascinating discovery in an article published in the Davidson Institute, the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science, website. The article was also published in Ynet.
