Bachelor in Science Math- Physics (B.Sc)

The track trains engineers with especially in-depth knowledge of physics, and it complements and expands the combined Mathematics-Physics track. The combined Mathematics-Physics track broadens mathematical studies and provides students who wish to delve deeper into mathematics with a strong physics background, while developing the physical intuition essential for understanding the profound connections between the two fields. This study track is intended for those interested in both mathematics and physics who want to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Graduate of the Mathematics-Physics track

I studied a combined Physics-Mathematics degree in the faculty's honors program. The mathematics studies enriched me greatly, not just in terms of the content itself (which was beautiful and fascinating), but also in the abstract way of thinking they instilled in me and my ability to tackle new mathematical material. Later on, in my path toward a PhD in General Relativity, this proved crucial. I'm really glad I studied in the combined track, and I feel it prepared and equipped me for my continued journey as a theoretical physicist.

Currently: I’m a software and algorithms developer at Meta, working on virtual reality. Before that, I held several cool development roles: an algorithms developer at VisionMap, working on cameras for aerial photography, and a software and algorithms developer at Magic Leap, working on augmented reality.
