The awarded degree

Bachelor of Science (B.sc)

The program provides foundations in the fields of theoretical and experimental physics.
Upon completion, one can enter research and development in high-tech industries or research institutes, or continue with advanced studies toward a master’s degree.
During the first three semesters, the emphasis is on basic studies in physics and acquiring the mathematical knowledge necessary for further study. In the last three semesters, modern topics are taught, and there is freedom of choice allowing students to focus on a variety of areas in physics.
At the end of the second year, students can register for a four-year physics track, designed for those interested in applied optics and optoelectronics who intend to work in advanced optical science industries or engage in optics research and development. This track also includes a range of engineering courses.
