Information for International Students
The Physics Department at the Technion attracts highly qualified and motivated graduate students from around the world. The department offers Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Students interact closely with faculty in all major fields of current research, including astrophysics, atomic and optical physics, biophysics, condensed matter physics, cosmology, high energy physics, plasma physics, quantum science and technology, and string theory.
Graduate courses are conducted in English.
Scholarships are provided to all students who maintain a satisfactory academic record. Scholarships and Housing information is available in the Technion Graduate School website.
The typical duration of studies is 2 years for MSc and 4 years for PhD degrees.
The Technion is Israel's leading science and engineering university. It is located in Haifa, the largest city in the north of Israel.
