Where to start

Advice for new students

A few tips for getting started:

  • The undergraduate curriculum is based on the course catalog, and it’s highly recommended to choose your courses according to the suggested schedule.
  • If you deviate from the suggested schedule, it’s very important to ensure there are no exam schedule conflicts for the courses in which you are enrolled.
  • Exemption requests based on prior studies must be handled before the start of the first semester.
  • For your convenience, there are comfortable study areas and a kitchenette in the faculty. Access to them is via your student card.
  • Before the start of the semester, you’ll be invited to an “Orientation Day”. During orientation, you’ll receive important information for beginning your studies in the faculty and at the Technion, and you’ll meet the team that will accompany, support, and promote you during your degree. You’ll get to know the Dean, the Undergraduate Studies Center, the library staff, student representatives, and the existing support and mentoring programs at the Technion.

Scanned Exams

After exams have been graded, they are forwarded to the Computerized Documentation Unit (the scanning unit) by the faculty secretary responsible for the course. The scanning unit routinely handles exam scanning so that most exams are scanned within one day from the end of grading. Several times a day, automated email and app notifications are sent regarding newly scanned exams.

You can view the scanned exam in the Grades portal on the relevant course page.

To log in to the Grades portal, use your Technion email username (without the “@campus.technion.ac.il” ending) and the password for your Technion email account.

For questions regarding a missing scanned exam, please contact the faculty secretariat where the course was taken.
