With great pleasure I would like to inform you that Assistant Professor Amit Kanigel was awarded the Krill Prize for 2013.
"The Krill Prize is awarded annually by the Wolf foundation to excelling faculty members at the universities in Israel, Who hold positions of lecturer or senior lecturer (Assistant Professor at the Technion) and have not been granted tenure yet".
(*) Amit is the 5th member of the Faculty of Physics that wins the Krill prize since its inception in 2005. previous winners are Dr. Oren Cohen (2011), Dr. Keren Kinneret (2010), Dr. Jeff Steinhauer (2008) and Prof. Ehud Behar (2005).
