| Abstract: | A lot of effort has been devoted to the flavour anomalies in certain B-decays in both the charged and neutral sectors. In the charged sector, the measurement of RD and RD* may point to the existence of Beyond Standard Model Physics. In the talk, I present the work from recent papers of ours in which we discuss the RD and RD* anomalies in a model-independent fashion, using six-dimensional SU(2)xU(1) invariant effective operators. We explore the different possible solutions, in addition to the correlations between various charged and neutral current processes, examining the constraints they put on the possible
explanations of the anomalies. The talk will be mostly based on arXiv:1610.03038 and arXiv:1805.03209.
