Abstract: | I introduce the transition-metal dichalcogenides based few-layer superconductors.
Then I present the challenge of 2-fold symmetry observed experimentally, and the ways to resolve it.
Then I describe the orbital effects in films and challenges in finding the density of states in the magnetic field.
I finally discuss the topological properties of superconducting states protected by the spin-orbit coupling.
