אנו גאים לברך את פרופסור יהושע זק אשר נבחר לעמית כבוד של האגודה הישראלית לפיזיקה (IPS)

“For his contribution to condensed matter physics and in particular for the discovery of the magnetic translation group and the KQ representation also known as Zak representation and for the discovery of the topological phase in the band theory of solids known as Zak phase”.

עמיתי הכבוד הוכרזו בטקס אשר נערך בכנס ה-64 של האגודה בתחילת החודש.

פרופסור זק זכה בשנת 2014 במדליית ויגנר היוקרתית, The Wigner Medal 2014,
"for his discovery of the magnetic translation group and the phase and transform that bear his name"
